All balloons undergo daily inspections and meet international aviation standards. Flights are cancelled if wind conditions exceed safety thresholds. The pilot briefs all passengers on safety procedures and landing positions before takeoff.

Wear layered clothing as early mornings can be cool (around 15 celsius) but the balloon burners generate significant heat. Long trousers and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring a warm jacket, sunglasses and a hat. Cameras with secure straps are welcome but avoid loose items. The basket is spacious but sturdy shoes help with the landing.

Standard baskets carry 12-16 passengers divided into compartments, each with excellent viewing positions. Private flights for couples or small groups (2-4 people) are available at a premium.
